Friends (and Good Customers) Are Forever

Hello, my loves.

After my first stint in the UK, I returned to Brazil with a head full of dreams. I thought about my future, about how I could redirect my life and build something new. For a while, everything seemed normal—I was job hunting, finding my footing back home… but as we know, darling, life rarely follows a simple script.

Sometimes, a single misstep can change the entire path. I was detained for carrying drugs and alleged involvement in drug trafficking. Although I was later acquitted of drug trafficking charges, the accusation alone was enough to land me in jail for six months. Six months of my life, gone. It was, without a doubt, the darkest and most testing period of my existence.

When I finally stepped back into the sunlight, the reality was harsh. The funds I had worked so hard to save in the UK were entirely depleted. Everything was gone, and the future looked incredibly bleak.

Reflecting and reaching out

I knew my only option was to return to the UK to start over, but I needed a way to fund the journey. I had no safety net, no resources left. It was in that moment of desperation that a thought occurred to me: perhaps some of my dear, regular clients still remembered the sweet, unforgettable Sarah? Would they be willing to help a friend in need?

I decided to reach out to a few select gentlemen. Their response warmed my heart—they were surprised to hear from me, of course, but incredibly eager to support me, holding onto the hope that we might meet again soon.

It is fascinating, isn’t it, my loves? How easy it is to find support when you leave a truly lasting impression behind. Or perhaps, it simply shows how easily people can be swayed when you know exactly which strings to pull.

Until next time, Nara
